Our vision is to see the members of our church, the city of Greensboro, and the globe, transformed by the Gospel, and set on fire to take the Gospel to their neighbors, their family and the nations.

It is our heartbeat and desire to teach children from birth about the Love of Christ on their individual learning levels. We have age graded classes for birth through pre-k and from Kindergarten through sixth grade. Our goal is to lay a firm foundation for children to accept Christ by presenting the Gospel truths from the Bible in ways that are age appropriate. Children are taught through the use of many resources and tools. And we know that children, especially preschoolers are very active. We teach through art, blocks, books, pictures, home living, music, nature and puzzles. The Bible is the foundational part of teaching and is used throughout these areas. At South Elm, we have a place for every child.
They are as follows:
All rooms will be sanitized before/after being used.
Children and volunteers will need to wash hands as soon as they enter the room and before they leave.
Only one adult should walk their child to class. The less people moving through the halls the better.
If a child, parent or volunteer has these symptoms (except for allergies) please stay home:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
Connection groups are provided for all ages of the church. In South Elm Kids we break up the classes according to age. Each group studies the Gospel Project for Kids. The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. Connection Groups start at 9:45 on Sunday mornings.
Kids connection is designed to continue learning after connection groups while parents are in the worship service. Every week, kids go on a Bible adventure with Emily and an animated star named Shine, sing a memorable song with Mr. Music, memorize a verse with Guy the Bible Guy, and see how the Bible story applies to everyday life with Shine's animated friends. Download the Bible App for Kids to extend biblical learning all throughout the week at home!
